Troubleshooting

• Key rejected — type it exactly (0/O, 1/I) and make sure you're redeeming at setup.office.com, not inside an app.
• Activation fails — the sign-in account must match the redemption account. Check which account holds the licence at account.microsoft.com → Services.
• Apps missing after install — run the installer again; it repairs the app set.
• Deactivated after a macOS update — open any Office app and sign in again; the licence re-attaches instantly.
• Not enough disk space — free at least 10 GB before running the .pkg.
